Our wonderful landscape makes the biker's heart beat faster.

The route:

Ausswinkl-Motorrad-31_3.jpg

Starting from Russbach, you ride through Lammertal valley and continue via Gosau to Lake Hallstättersee. Hallstatt itself, nestled along steep mountain sides, is worth a visit. Continue via Bad Aussee and Bad Ischl to Lake Traunsee - a wonderful spot! Halfway to Gmunden, a side road branches off to Steinbach am Attersee. Along Lake Mondsee, continue to Lake Wolfgangsee. In Strobl, the idyllic Postalmstraße branches off. Via Abtenau you can then return to Russbach, the starting point of your tour.

The Salzkammergut with its multitude of lakes offers postcard motifs galore. Therefore, the focus of this tour is clearly on scenic attractions. Of the multitude of sights that can not be integrated into this day tour, the following examples should not go unmentioned: The front and rear Gosausee Lakes (a several-hour hike), both of which can be reached from Gosau; the Dachstein caves, in particular the giant ice cave and the mammoth cave near Lake Hallstatt; Lake Altausseersee with its panoramic road and the Schafberg at St. Wolfgang, which offers a magnificent panoramic view. Nevertheless, this tour provides a variety of impressions that highlight the beauty of this region. In particular Lake Hallstättersee with Hoher Dachstein in the background, Lake Traunsee, which is surrounded by high flanks along its southern shore, as well as the Postalmstraße are particularly noteworthy here.
